Carl Wells, J.D., CPA
Carl Wells joined the
professional staff of Long, Cook & Samsa, Inc. in July 2005. He
is a graduate of Ohio University and Cleveland State College of
Law and passed both the CPA exam and the Ohio Bar exam. He was
formerly tax manager of the Cleveland office of Coopers &
Lybrand, and practiced tax and probate law with the firm of
Merrick, Wells & Cass of Cleveland, Ohio for many years. During
that time he served as special tax & accounting consultant for
National Broadcasting Co., Figgie International and American
Shipbuilding. More recently, he served as Chief Financial
Officer of United States Warranty Corp., a Cleveland based
company.
He is a member of the Ohio
Society of CPA's and American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, and Treasurer of Learn N Play of Wooster
