includes courses at The College of Wooster and several
continuing education courses in tax, accounting, and computer
related areas.
Professional Organizations:
Quota International - A
professional business women's service organization. Affiliate
member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Experience:
Over thirty-five years
bookkeeping, accounting and related experience including
positions with Field Enterprises, Martin Oil Service, Culligan,
and Akron Brass. Founding partner of C. and J. Services, a
bookkeeping, accounting and tax firm that was the predecessor
firm of Cook and Samsa, CPA's. Duties at Cook and Samsa included
firm administrator and accountant, tax preparation and
bookkeeping for clients, and assisting and training clients with
their bookkeeping, payroll and accounting systems.
Community Activities:
Past Treasurer of the
Wooster Chapter of Quota International and member of the board
of their charitable foundation and founding member (and former
treasurer) of CASH Investment Club, an association of women
investors. Former activities include past assistant treasurer,
past Senior Warden and former Board Member of St. James
Episcopal Church, member of board of trustees of Pine Cove
Homeowners Association, founding member and president of a
Wooster Community Hospital sponsored health related support
group, treasurer of The College of Wooster's College Circle
